We spend our lives searching for freedom, yet freedom is rarely stable or universal. It is fragile, subjective, and shaped by perception.

This project explores the contemporary search for happiness, identity, and liberation within a world that constantly shapes desire, beauty, and behavior.

Friend of Dorothy borrows from both Dorothy’s journey in The Wizard of Oz and the historical queer expression of belonging. Dorothy becomes a companion through an unstable search for freedom, identity, desire, and happiness.
